During 4-7 March 2014, ACI Partners in partnership with Wolf Theiss, a leading Central and South East European law firm, and National Institute of Justice, organised and provided a training course in Competition Law to Moldovan judges.
The training team comprising international expertise of Mr. Pavel Urban (Competition lawyer of Wolf Theiss, Prague), valuable local expertise of Mrs. Valentina Novac (Head of Anti Cartel Department of Moldovan Competition Council) and Mrs. Carolina Parcalab (Head of Competition Service Line at ACI Partners), and one trainer-consultant, namely Mr. Nicolae Craiu (Chisinau Court of Appeal judge) nominated by the National Institute of Justice.
The training was organised in four days session for different groups of judges from all over the country, and allowed participants to address the problematic issues, both from the Moldovan and the European law perspectives. The focus was both, on practice and theory, giving the judges a perfect opportunity to bring up the uncertainties and discuss the most important provisions regarding the practical aspects of the law.
ACI Partners is a two times winner of the Competition Law Firm of the Year in Moldova.
