Information on Public Holidays in August in Moldova
Dear Colleagues, Clients and Friends!
Please be informed that on 27 August 2015 Moldova celebrates the Independence Day and 31 August 2015 is the National Day of Our Language. Therefore, these days are deemed legal public holidays and non-working days.
Based on Government Decision (Decision No 975 of 4 December 2014), the day of 28 August 2015 has also been declared a non-working day. Respectively the days from 27 to 31 of August will be considered days off. Banks, private companies and state institutions may be closed these days.
In exchange, 22 August 2015 – the Saturday prior to the public holidays – has been declared a working day.
