ACI Partners continues to contribute to the development of competition law in Moldova

On 21 November 2019, PRIA Events (Romania) and the Moldovan Competition Council in partnership with ACI Partners and Popovici, Nițu, Stoica și Asociații (Romania) organized a PRIA Competition Event in Chisinau. During the event, the panel, represented by notable practitioners with extensive regulatory and international experience, presented some of the most recent developments in the area and explored the most sensitive and hot topics of the competition law in Moldova.

Emil Gutu, our Competition Manager, made a presentation on the most important legal and economic aspects on relevant markets’ definition in competition law; with a special emphasis on the existent case law in European Union and the Republic of Moldova.

The conference is the first of this kind, where private legal and economic experts specialized in Competition law together with the officials from the Competition Council shared their specific experience and knowledge. Considering the interest of the business community, Chisinau PRIA Competition Event will definitely become a good competition advocacy venue in Moldova.
