Personal Experience

Carolina Parcalab has ten years of experience, representing international companies in acquisition, equity investments, corporate restructuring and real estate transactions in Moldova. Carolina advises and assists international private and institutional entities in relation to acquisition of significant shareholdings in Moldovan commercial banks. In the field of competition, Carolina advises and represents businesses before Moldovan competition authority on merger clearance, unfair competition matters, as well as consulted on the competition regulatory reform in Moldova.

Carolina has extensive experience in litigation, representing foreign and national clients in before Moldovan courts on competition, trademarks, employment, freedom of expression, freedom of confession, and other matters. As part of her work, Carolina offered legal advice to foreign clients on all aspects of Moldovan business and licensing law, and represented foreign investors when setting up their business in Moldova, registering major changes to corporate structure and capital; and has advised foreign investors on tax matters in Moldova.

Carolina has also contributed to legal researches for international private and institutional organizations, in particular in the field of competition, tax, corporation, banking and finance.
